The hunched and hooded figure of Albertus Malthar slowly ambled toward the market square, burdened under a huge rucksack and leaning heavily on a gnarled wooden staff.
Finding a quiet corner the figure releases the straps of his heavy baggage and allows it to drop to the ground breathing a sigh of relief and straigtening with a creak.
Removing his hooded cloak revealed an old man in simple travelling clothes, tall yet rotund, his heavily lined face dominated by a long and unkempt grey beard that reached his great round belly, his eyes shone with curiosity and benevolent wisdom.
"Lets hope the people of this township are more enlightened than those of Oakhaven" he mumbled seemingly to himself, "I am sure there must be someone here who requires the services of a wizard".
