We travel to the nearest "settlement". Ulalume is annoyed. You can tell becase she is still clutching the sword and keeping quiet. When we reach the settlement (total population wealth about 1,000 gp!) Ulalume stops the first peon milling about, gauping at the arrival of the newcomers like guppy fish at feeding time. With a swift flick of the wrist she hides the sword under her cloak. She finds a child. "Hey you! Come here. I have a job for you. I need a message delivered. Pronto!" He protests something about him already having a job, waving his chimney-sweeper's brush in her face. While he does so and the rest of the party join the onlookers for some frantic seconds of oogling she rummages through her pouchest, pockets, backpack. She pulls out a whole gold piece "Ooo... I just quit my job!" quips the child. "Though so!" She mutters with a grin. Handing it over to him she whispers: "Make haste. Go find Vlad and tell him: I am coming!" He snatches the coin. She walks on. "Vlad? Vlad who? Don't know him..." She stops and just turns her head without turning her body or looking at him. "Vlad von Teslon" and walks off. She heads for the nearest inn. "Wait!" he shouts after her "Where is he? Who are you?" She ignores him. "I don't know myself the answer to those questions.... YET!" she thinks to herself.
